We attempted a doughnut emporium that has Super Bowl champs and Obama backing adult — and it lives adult to a hype

If we ask a Seattle local, we can forget about Krispy Kreme or Dunkin’ Donuts — it’s all about Top Pot Doughnuts, a internal sequence that has turn an establishment given it initial non-stop in 2002.

How famous is Top Pot? Famous adequate that President Barack Obama himself stopped in during a revisit to Seattle in 2010. “You can’t eat these each day,” he quipped.

And how tasty is Top Pot? Delicious adequate that, also behind in 2010, Golden Tate — afterwards a rookie with a Seattle Seahawks — walked into a sealed Top Pot store during 3 a.m. since he was longing a maple bars (his unit was located in a same building). It’s generally humorous since Top Pot was named a central doughnut of a Seahawks only a few months prior.

In other words, Top Pot is critical business. At rise hours, it has lines entrance out a door. So when we were in Seattle final week, we had to stop by and check out Top Pot Doughnuts for ourselves.
