Georgia father incidentally shoots and kills daughter’s friend

A Georgia teen was shot and killed in a box of mistaken identity.

Jordan Middleton, 17, was visiting his 14-year-old womanlike crony during her parent’s home early Saturday morning.

Authorities pronounced a lady snuck a teen into a house, and when her father, Derrick Fulton, listened noises downstairs he grabbed his gun and went to investigate.

Fulton told military that a family’s barking dog led him to a downstairs guest bedroom, ABC 7 reports.

According to a Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Fulton yelled that he was armed and pronounced if someone was in a house, they should come forward.

When no one came out, Fulton yelled a warning again and afterwards went into a bedroom. Fulton pronounced Middleton dashed out of a closet in a bedroom and Fulton dismissed a singular shot attack a teen in a chest.

WRDW 12 reports that when military arrived to a home around 2:50 a.m. following a 911 call about a burglary, Fulton was behaving CPR on Middleton in a foyer.

No charges have been filed, and a sharpened is still underneath investigation.
